As
leading UK specialists in this field, PMR are continually developing

For those who have completed the Workplace Mediation Certificate
course (Units 1 & 2), PMR offers further advanced trainings,
such as:

ADVANCED
TRAINING DAYS |
| These
advanced training days take place every year and provide on-going
professional support and advanced skills training for those who have
completed the PMR OCN Certificate course. |
The Advanced
training day, which is usually from 10am – 5pm, includes
sharing and discussion of real life case studies of workplace
mediations (keeping all names and details confidential), discussion
of the more complex issues which may arise in setting up mediations,
and further advanced skills training in such topics as writing
agreements, handling strong emotions within the mediation, the
best use of shuttle mediation, communication skills to encourage
disputants to come up with agreements when they are stuck, issues
to keep in mind if doing a mediation which includes racial, sexual
or disability issues and so on.

Unit
3 ‘WORKPLACE MEDIATION WITH TEAMS™’
|
PMR
are pleased to offer the first accredited training in the UK on
how to facilitate a structured mediation with workplace teams, groups
or departments, which gives an additional OCN certificate. Understandably,
facilitating a mediation with a number of people does require further
skills training in group dynamics and group process. Mediation with
teams is not only about the use of mediation where there are interpersonal
conflicts or difficulties but it is also increasingly used after
a formal investigation has taken place and positive intervention
is needed in order to help resume good working relations between
those involved.
All those who
have completed PMR’s Units 1 & 2 are eligible to attend
this advanced Unit 3 and will be sent details. It is also possible
for those experienced in workplace mediation who have received equivalent
accredited training in workplace mediation to apply for this unit
